今天回中大取學生證之後,就一個人走到旺角四處逛了一會。好久沒有這樣在旺角街頭漫無目的的遊走了;每一次到旺角都總是心裡有著某個行程,要買的買完,要看的看完便離開。在行人區一直走著,沸沸騰騰的街上人潮依舊,卻發現頭頂上的天王招牌比我印象中的旺角又多了一些,那些天王的銜頭也比以前的來得更兇。

會考放榜,各大報章爭相報導一眾十優生與及越來越多的天才兒童的捷報。平心而論,我不認識這些天才兒童,難以判斷他們的天才到底有多令人感到震懾,以至一位父親會願意讓一個小六的學生一下子跳級至中四。中一至中三的初中教育重點不在於學術方面,而在於全人培養,通識教育。很難相信一個小六學生在從未接觸過中學教育的情況下就斷然進入專科教育。難道是因為他應付得來,就覺得他應該去做?報章報導到,小天才的父親說成功需要努力,我十分同意;但繼續往下看,他對努力的理解是要求兒子每天溫習八小時。八小時!十二、三歲的小孩,每天八小時!!
